About the painting “Time for your own thoughts”
A surreal female portrait in which part of the face is replaced by a large seashell with golden highlights. The shell covers one eye, as if the woman is listening to herself and the sound of her own thoughts. Wavy hair and a high collar heighten the feeling of calm and focus.
Technique and details
The work is painted in a silvery-grey palette with delicate gold accents, and the spiral of the shell is rendered with graphic precision. Painted in 2024. Size: 160 × 110 cm; materials: canvas, oil paints. This is a one-of-a-kind original by Ukrainian artist Natali Kokhnichenko.
In the interior
This vertical 160 × 110 cm painting becomes a centrepiece in a living room, bedroom, study or beauty salon. The silver-grey palette with gold harmonises with elegant, neoclassical and contemporary interiors.
