About the painting “Red currants”
A still life with clusters of red currants and finely cut green leaves. The berries gleam like glass beads, each with its own highlight. The background is split into dark and light areas, giving the composition a modern, graphic feel.
Technique and details
Every berry is painted with volume, highlights and fine veining, and the contrast of red and green gives the painting juiciness and freshness. Painted in 2023. Size: 50 × 40 cm; materials: canvas, oil paints. This is a one-of-a-kind original by Ukrainian artist Natali Kokhnichenko.
In the interior
This compact 50 × 40 cm painting is made for a kitchen, dining room, café or country house. It looks great paired with other still lifes and in Provençal or modern classic interiors.
