Branches of a lemon tree with ripe yellow fruit and dark green leaves. The lower part of the painting dissolves into abstract vertical strokes of yellow, green and blue, as if sunlight were running down the canvas. A painting about summer, the Mediterranean, freshness and joy.

Technique and details

The work is painted expressively with thick impasto strokes and pronounced texture, making each lemon full and juicy. Painted in 2020. Size: 100 × 80 cm; materials: linen, oil paints. This is a one-of-a-kind original by Ukrainian artist Natali Kokhnichenko.
