Hydrangea

About the painting “Hydrangea”

A hydrangea bloom seen up close: dozens of petals in lilac, violet and soft pink come together in a voluminous, almost sculptural form. The tiny blue flower centres glow like dew against the dark background.

Technique and details

The artist builds the form through the play of light on each petal; the gradient from pink to deep violet gives the painting depth and drama. Painted in 2025. Size: 100 × 80 cm; materials: canvas, oil paints. This is a one-of-a-kind original by Ukrainian artist Natali Kokhnichenko.

In the interior

At 100 × 80 cm, the painting will grace a bedroom, living room or study. Its violet-pink palette pairs well with grey, white and emerald tones, as well as brass and gold accents.
