About the painting “Forest after rain”
Pine cones on branches covered in raindrops, set against a forest lake, fir trees and misty hills. Fresh air, the wet sheen of needles and cool turquoise tones of water convey the feeling of a forest just after rain — purity, silence and renewal.
Technique and details
The cones are painted in close-up with every scale given volume, and the water droplets have transparent highlights, creating almost photographic realism. Painted in 2023. Size: 140 × 87 cm; materials: canvas, oil paints. This is a one-of-a-kind original by Ukrainian artist Natali Kokhnichenko.
In the interior
This tall vertical 140 × 87 cm painting is a natural accent for a living room, bedroom, study, country house or cottage. Its green-turquoise palette pairs with wood, stone, linen and eco or chalet-style interiors.
